    Amazon forecasts slower sales growth in the SLOTXO third quarter, driven by the coronavirus pandemic.Customers turn to Amazon and other online platforms during the Covid crisis, leading to record profits for the US giant.

    But Amazon’s relentless growth is starting to level where customers are starting to return to brick-and-mortar stores.Revenue rose 27 percent to $113 billion (£81 billion) in the second quarter. But this did not meet analysts’ expectations.

    Amazon shares fell more than 7 percent in after-hours trading.Earlier, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Amazon made record profits. Over 200 million customers signed up for Prime and recruited more than 500,000 employees to keep up with growing demand.

    But the introduction of vaccines and the easing of restrictions have led some consumers to go out to stores. At the same time it uses click and collect services. Compete with the fast delivery of online orders from Amazon and its affiliates
