All whiskey distilleries were shipped from Scotland to slotxo China on Friday.More than 35 tons of equipment, including slides, floors, control valves and pipework, are leaving Buckie in Moray to Tianjin Port.
The equipment will be assembled in a factory built in Inner Mongolia.This delivery is part of the agreement. A £3 million “design and build” signing between Forfar Valentine International and China’s Mengtai Group in 2019.
The Ordos factory will become Inner Mongolia’s first whiskey distillery when it opens. should be at the end of this year
All of the refinery equipment was built by Forsyths, a Rothes company that is sending a team of five engineers to oversee the assembly.Forsyths has a team in Hong Kong to provide pre-sales and after-sales services.
