The last time Andrei Svechnikov suited up for the Carolina Hurricanes, he was knocked out of Game 3 of the team’s first-round playoff series by an Alexander Ovechkin punch.Sixteen days later, the rookie returnedto the Karl Kauffmann Jersey Carolina lineup for Game 3 in the second round against the New York Islanders.
