Senators a sistant coach Mark Reeds has died at 55 after battling cancer, the .Reeds underwent surgery Michael Pierce Jersey last season and had been away from the team since February. He came to Ottawa from the Ontario Hockey League’s Owen Sound Attack and previously led the United Hockey League’s Kalamazoo Wings and Mi souri River Otters Ray Lewis Jersey and the ECHL’s Peoria Rivermen.Reeds played in the NHL for the Blues and the Whalers, appearing in 365 games from 1981-89.He is survived by his wife, Mary, and his children, Kyle and Kelsey.It is with very heavy hearts that all of us within the Senators family remember Mark who was truly a wonderful father, husband, player, coach and friend,” Senators owner Eugene Melnyk said in a statement. “Marks charismatic fighting spirit was present right until the end. We are all better for having had Jimmy Smith Jersey the opportunity to work so closely with Mark whose pa sion for life, hockey and his family will leave an indelible mark on our organization. The entire Ottawa Senators organization sends its deepest condolences to the Reeds family.”Reeds spent six seasons with the Blues, who also released a Anthony Averett Jersey statement:”The St. Louis Blues along with our Alumni organization are deeply saddened by the pa sing of Mark Reeds.Mark was an inspirational father, husband, player, coach and contributor to the St. Louis community.
