Covid in Wales: How many deaths have there been?
A further 30 people have died with coronavirus in Wales, according to the latest figures from Public Health Wales.
It takes the total number of Covid-related deaths to 5,175.
There have also been a further 374 cases reported, with Wales’ overall case rate falling to 86 for every 100,000 people.
The total number of people in Wales who have had their first dose of a Covid vaccine is now 807,351.
Second Covid jab doses have been given to 12,988 people.
Where were the new deaths reported?
Betsi Cadwaladr has the most new reported deaths with 15, taking its total to 851.
Both the Cardiff and Vale and Hywel Dda health boards had four new deaths each.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg and Swansea Bay had three each and Powys reported one new death.
What are the case rates?
Wales’ case rates for Covid have dropped from 88 cases per 100,000 people on Tuesday to 86, with 17 out of Wales’ 22 local authorities now under 100.
Wrexham still has the highest case rate in Wales, with 125.8 per 100,000 people.
This is followed by Flintshire (122.4) and Powys (116.3).
The lowest case rates are seen in Pembrokeshire (51.7), Bridgend (47.6), and Ceredigion (24.8).
