Is it worth getting my boat shrink-wrapped?

I was looking into options of winterizing my boat and considered traveling the less trodden path of shrink wraps instead of going with boat covers. But before I go ahead with this plan, I wanted to find out if it was worth it. Some information about my boat: it’s considerably new, it’s medium-sized, and it’s a sailboat. I want full coverage and protection from the weather with the best boat shrink wrap so that I can safeguard my investment for a long time coming. So what do you say, guys? Should I go ahead with it? Or just make do with a tarp?
