One important thing to take note would be their insurance feature since not all trading websites have this. It is there to make sure that all trades are with a safety net (as long as you keep it within 25 BTC) making traders feel secure knowing that the website has got their backs.

Tried to withdraw a small amount of monero and they labelled it as complete. On the blockchain it is clear the transaction was never sent and I tried to raise a ticket with them over a week ago. Still no reply, or monero. Seriously, don’t touch this exchange.

When I sell my coins on this exchange, the money gets deposited into my account relatively quickly (same day or next day). It takes about 4 times as long to sell stocks and get the money deposited into my bank account from my fidelity account. I guess purchases on Deribit from bank accounts can be slow

18 day holds now coinbase? Stop forcing me to buy and hold in a volatile market. You’re making bag holders out of traders, and I know it doesn’t take 18 days to clear the funds. Unless you’re using the snail mail? Crypto is supposed to be fast and efficient. Right? I can clear ten thousand dollars in fidelity in one day. Explain why I can’t clear funds for crypto in less than 18?

Easy to buy coin. VERY easy to validate bank account-took less than 24 hours from the funds had left my bank account to validation email, then less than 6 hours from my cashout request to the funds being in my bank account. Someone has been doing their homework- best validation/ payout times I have ever encountered. Good job guys.

Do not use this exchange if you want to be able to transfer or trade your tokens freely. They lock tokens for months without any reason. I cant trade or transfer my $ICX tokens for 4 months now. The only thing I can do is watch the price go down and there is nothing I can do about it. The only response you ll get is that they are working on it.

The support staff at Deribit did a wonderful job at helping me regain access to my account. I had given my phone to my daughter, so it was wiped clean. And there went my 2FA…so totally my fault. The support team helped me in the process to restore my account access quickly but in a way that was secure. It took a little time and documentation but I think it’s worth the wait to ensure the quality and security provided.

I’ve been trading and in the crypto currency space for years, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere to start trading cryptos. The exchange is constantly lagging, bank transfers take close to a millennium to go through, and worst of all, if you’re planning on trading have fun being manipulated by trading bots and alogorithms which are built to fake out orders on the order book so you hold and lose, or sell and get left out. Their limit buy/sell system is absolute garbage, they won’t let you get in or out at the price you want, but they’ll let others in front of you thus fucking your position. These algos are also built to snipe your stop buy/sell orders in case you want to have a life for 5 minutes and stop watching the market. If you set you buy order at a break out point, the algo trading bots will push all the way up to your order, snag it and then tank. Conversely if you set your stop sell order at a low resistance point, they will push down to trigger your order and then leave you in the cold for a bull run. Happens every single hour of every day.

I have had NO problems with transferring cash from coinbase to Deribit. No problem placing limited orders on Deribit for coins that coinbase supports and that is with NO fees. Then transferring the coins back to coinbase from here

Support from them is a bad experience. But use them to buy the coinbase coins for no fees and transfer those coins back to coinbase.

Excellent support and care. Really patient and helpful when I lost my 2fa login capabilities. Only was difficult when I was asked to provide tx hashes for deposits which was beyond my expertise to find. Non the less support stuck with me and found a solution. Really happy and can’t fault customer service.

very high withdrawal fees , it takes 40xlm for each withdrawal which i pay 0.1 on my another exchange …

took 3 days for some coins to be deposited on my account even the transaction was 900 times confirmed but it wasn’t still deposited

I see a trading opportunity, so I needed to buy some BTC, when I withdrew the coins to my Poloniex account, they weren’t there after an hour. I then get a message stating my withdrawal has been held for 72 hours…. SEVENTY TWO HOURS. Last time I use them, sticking to Bitstamp from now on.

Perhaps the most convenient interface of all exchanges known to me.
Low commission on trade.
Responsive tech support.
I have never delayed the withdrawal of funds.
Among the shortcomings: for some coins high commission for withdrawal.

I will not recommend this company. All they do is take your money and deny you your money. they will make promises to you and never fulfill them. They cleared all the money in my account and stopped picking up my calls. I had to reach out to a recovery expert debinaryrecovery @ gmail, com to help me recover all the money back and it was successfully recovered

I would never ever use their services again, and I will most probably take them to open court for owning private data that they have no right to have in their systems.

You’re better going to Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, literally ANY other exchange. They’ve never had an issue with the AML process which ran as smoothly as it possibly can.

if you would like to experience real nightmare, open account with this fraudulent company. Deribit has frozen my account more than year ago – specifically in March 2018. To this time – June 2019 – my case is not solved and support engineers are desperately apologizing me over and over again. I am not able to login and withdraw my funds from it for more than 18 months! Not possible to contact any supervisor nor person who is responsible for this mess. Looking at other case I am not alone. Terrible, terrible customer care!

Took thousands of dollars and restricted by Bitcoin withdrawals. Generic replies. No reason.

more than a month and I couldn’t get my funds out of my account and that made me get so uncomfortable as I have lost to some company because of this same problem. I have handed over the case I have with the broker with the recovery firm at Luke.dawnatmail who is an expert in financial fraud and asset recovery, he’s a consultant with Wealth recovery International and also own a tech company that runs forensics on cybercrime. I have only gotten 40% in 3days and hope I get it all. I’m really stucked with many fake companies at the moment. I just want to get all my money and say bye to all this thieves.

Decent platform for trading but I got locked out and have spent considerable time working with their team and have still not been given access to my account. I will have to abandon it now. Unfortunately I cannot provide their huge list of demands.

Recently the change is withdrawal fee for the coins very high for lesser amounts also, should be reviewed by exchange once.
Otherwise exchange great, the listed coins will be there usually for the trading and investment, no manipulations , and no delistings unnecessarily. Last but not least , deribit logo I don’t like it has only head of the bull, its half, not good and not colorful.

I couldn’t profit by trading on deribit due to high trading fees.

It seems the exchange is not for small traders.

The website also is slow to respond when we compare to Binance.

However, on the positive side The customer support and security is excellent.

This site is very low security, because for the past 2 weeks someone using my email account.
All login is from United State, although i already activate “Two Factor Authentication”, “Terminate All Sessions” and delete all “API Keys.
Until right now there still new login from new IP.

The process of account verification is not secure. You should send all personal data by email. This data is accessible for all Deribit staff who has access to this mailbox. Potenionaly someone can use or share your personal information or hackers can copy all data from this mailbox.

The worst support one can get. Also the fees are much to high.Another point is that some coins are offline for withdrawels, without any reason, because at the same time I could withdraw the same coin from binance..so that was surely an internal error.

On the basic, it would be a good exchange platform, but, in practice I met a lot of issue with Login protocole, at the worse case, Due to recurrent issue on the Deribit platform I did not succeed in login with 2FA (when it works perfectly with all my other exchanges) and I had to justify again and again my identity to recover the control on my account (not finished yet after 10 days…)
I guess first of all it’s unacceptable for an exchange platform, and secondly, not reactive enough to make me being back on track asap…
I will not recommend this exchange (compare to my other experience With Kraken, Binance, and Coinbase…)

I HATE THIS EXCHANGE

From my very first experience with its buggy website with transactions that go missing for days, I have always tried to stay away from this rubbish exchange. Unfortunately, as you know, some coins out of ICO go for cheap exchanges like Deribit so I have been forced to use them.

Their service is criminal.

Support team treat you like sh^& and act as if they can never be held accountable. Well hopefully management see this review because I am a trader and I use multiple exchanges and I strongly advise you to avoid Deribit at all costs.

Quite simply the worst exchange I have used.

Is there a minus 5-star rating? So that I can wipe out some stars from previous reviews probably made by Deribit bots. To start off Deribit is a complete fraud of a website. I once mistakenly sent some erc-tokens to a different erc-token to my Deribit account. Guess what? They never returned my coins despite so many tickets raised. They have the WORST support in the history of crypto exchanges.

Despite all this I recently deposited a relatively small amount to my Deribit ether wallet. Guess what? It’s been frozen and I cant use it. I use many crypto exchanges and even the most mediocre ones are still better than Deribit.

AVOID DeribitLIKE THE PLAUGUE OR LIKE EBOLA… YEAH… EBOLA.

They solved one of my tickets in 200 days, they reply when they want with standard phrases, and you can’t do nothing. In such a world like this of cryptocurrencies where 1 day is like a month in traditional world you can’t wait weeks for a ticket reply. Binance reply into 2 hours!
I still have another ticket open since 127 days…
If only they improve seriusly they support center they will became my best exchange.

Well it’s hit and miss, last fall on two seperate runs (DCN and TRX) got in super early, price was mooning and it took about a week for my deposit to show up… fail….

On the other hand pretty descent service, customer service does get back to you to try to answer concerns

I have a new phone and my 2FA Authenticator does not work. I contacted you 8 days ago and nothing. This is pathetic other exchanges are 24-48 hours.. my ticket is 318154. How about resolution.

The exchange works great but customer service is non existent.

The problem is that there is a two delay or more on getting your money/coins out of Deribit because of the whitelist. Nobody will put up with holding a clients money. So, I don’t think the company will survive with a policy that restricts clients withdrawal of funds. Until the whitelist issue of restricting client funds is resolved I’ll not keep any funds on Deribit.

I found that TAGZ is a scam. I also invested on their platform and after they kept asking me for kyc I got suspicious and did not invest more. They did not give me my investment (50,000 €) nor profits back. I found recoverwealthnow360 at g mail dot com before I they could drain me. I reported the situation and got a settlement claim (Investments + profits + damages).
Now before I do anything with my newly returned wealth, I am thinking of minimizing the damage. Does anyone scammed by TAGZ had to take a loss? No! Because we have help. I would probably have lost my investment without hearing that recoverywealthnow360 ad on the Radio. But I want to minimize the damage now I have successfully received my claim to withdraw my investment

The crypto Currency Authorities should monitor every Brokers and Account Managers activities, I lost over $230,000 to unregulated Brokers who convinced me into investing my capital. After some successful trade and my profit increased I make a withdrawal request but surprisingly all my withdrawal request was declined , I contacted their customer service unit but i was not given a meaningful Reason why my request was declined. I tried all I could to withdraw my fund but no solution , at the end I lost all my capital without a single profit return .In search for help on how to get my money back I was directed to contact Mr Nathan Harold who work with crypto Currency authorities, I contacted him and explained my situation to him , he requested for some details about the broker and concerning my investment, I forwarded all the details to him. Please avoid this exchange if possible. They are possibly a fraud. They are not allowing you to withdraw your coins when you can make good profit on other exchanges rather stuck with them with very low trading price of almost half. No response from support team. No transparency.
